The Herbert W. Armstrong Foundation is an organization dedicated to the service of humanity.
It is funded solely by donations of people around the world. This foundation is dedicated to the legacy of Mr. Herbert
W. Armstrong but also to the service of humanitarian needs throughout the world.
In 1975 Mr. Armstrong founded the Ambassador International Cultural Foundation (AICF), a non-profit organization.
After the death of Mr. Armstrong in 1986, this organization ceased to exist. It is our hope that the Herbert W.
Armstrong Foundation will continue his work to help serve the needs of humanity.
Mr. Armstrong was recognized around the world as an "ambassador without portfolio". He promoted a message of world
peace by emphasizing the "give" way of life, rather than the "get" way.
Mr. Armstrong, in addition to being the founder of the AICF, was founder and Pastor General of the Worldwide Church
of God, founder and presenter of The World Tommorrow Broadcast -which was heard around the world, the founder and editor in
chief of the Plain Truth Magazine, as well as author of many books and literally thousands of articles.
The Herbert W. Armstrong Foundation is organized and operated by former members of the Worldwide Church of God who fully
recognize the legacy and example that Mr. Armstrong set for us all.
It is this example of LOVE for his fellow man, that we endeavor to follow. It has been almost 21 years since
the death of Mr. Armstrong, but the work that was done through him still lives on and endures today in this 21st Century.
